I’m so sorry! I’ve been totally MIA on here which means these favourites are coming to you a week and a bit too late.
Between taking on too much work and overdoing it with social commitments, there’s been a lot going on over the last few weeks so the old blog has been forced to take a bit of a back seat. I’ve got a much quieter July to look forward to though and I’ll be back to weekly posts on Wednesdays from now on, starting with this one – my belated favourite posts from the month of June.
Crispy Sriracha Lime Chickpeas – The Healthy Maven
I’m a savoury kind of girl so you’ll find me reaching for a packet of crisps before a bar of chocolate and this month there’s a new favourite snack in town – sriracha lime chickpeas! I stumbled across a picture of these on Instagram but the link to the recipe didn’t work. I did some research and found a pretty good replacement in this post though.
Instagram Launches IGTV – Refinery 29
Just when we thought we had social media (sort of) figured out, Instagram went and introduced IGTV, its new video platform. This post does a pretty great job at explaining exactly what it is and how it works if, like me, new technology isn’t your strong suit.
Sushimania all you can eat – Nottingham – Will Flirt for Food
I LOVE SUSHI so when I heard an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant was opening in Nottingham, I was prettttttttty excited about it. I have to admit I was a little dubious though. All the sushi you want for just over £15 sounds just a little too good to be true, no? Luckily, Kaylea who I met at a Bumble BFF event a couple of months back did the research for me over on her blog. Turns out it’s as dreamy as it sounds so I’ll definitely be adding it to my ‘places to eat’ list (yes I really have one).
Wandering the Ancient Alleys of Split, Croatia – Ferreting Out The Fun
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that I recently went on a girl’s holiday to Croatia. I’ll confess that, with seven of us to take into consideration, we definitely didn’t get to see all of the things on this list but wander the ancient streets of Split and visit the Diocletian Palace we did and they were both great recommendations.
10 Free SEO Tools for Bloggers to Help Your Blog Grow – More About Cat.
This isn’t the first time one of Cat’s posts has made it into my monthly favourites and I doubt it’ll be the last – she’s just so darn helpful! I love writing and having a blog as an extension of that but all the technicalities that come along with it, I’m not so much a fan of. Tools like this that do the hard work for you are a godsend for me, as are the people who round them up in one handy post like Cat!
As always, I’d love to hear what your favourite posts of the last month have been in the comments below.
